Since I can’t drive, I use public transportation when I travel. I signed up for this tour because it covered all the places I wanted to visit. I was worried that a tour might limit my sightseeing time and prevent me from taking my time exploring, but that wasn’t the case at all. We had plenty of time to enjoy the sights, and it was a lot of fun. I was also able to hear a lot from the guide while traveling by bus, and I had a truly meaningful experience that’s unique to a guided tour. Since I usually travel alone, it’s often difficult to visit all the places I want to see on my own, but participating in this tour created some wonderful memories for me. Thank you very much!

There’s a branch of Izumo Taisha near my home, so I signed up for this tour hoping to visit Izumo someday. As it was my first trip to Izumo, this tour was a perfect fit for me, and I had absolutely no trouble participating on my own. The guide’s knowledgeable and passionate explanations, filled with love for Izumo, were very easy to understand, making for a fun and meaningful tour where we followed the same path as the deities. I’m grateful for this opportunity.

We had a great time at Izumo Taisha—we learned so much and heard stories we wouldn’t have known about if we’d gone on our own. Thank you very much. As expected, going early in the morning was wonderful—the air was crisp and refreshing. I’d definitely like to visit again during Kamiari-zuki.

It was my first time seeing an Izumo Kagura performance. It was wonderful. I also got to see the sunset before heading home, and I truly understood the beauty of the “Land of the Setting Sun.” During the Kagura performance… I started to worry that my aunt might not be feeling well. It was so hot—I was worried she might get heatstroke. Thank you, everyone.

The day we happened to go for an early morning visit was the day of the annual Oba Fumi day, and it was a very nice anniversary for our first visit to Izumo-taisha Shrine. If we had not been told about it by our guide, we would not have known that we could participate on our own, so we are very grateful.
