About Us

What are regional OTAs?

Regional OTAs are, in the narrow sense, OTAs (Online Travel Agents/Online reservation systems) that specialize in a particular region. They can build reservation sites and management systems like regional versions of Jalan and Rakuten Travel. (Many of their functions surpass those of Jalan, such as the pricing structure for plans that can be sold and reservation requests.)
Customers can not only gather information but also make reservations and payments, improving convenience.
Furthermore, it is certain that the operational efficiency and quality of operating organizations (tourism associations and regional DMOs) and participating businesses will improve.
However, that is not the goal.
The goal of local OTAs is to revitalize the region. The aim is to revitalize the region in the medium to long term by circulating funds and data that are flowing out of the region within the region (reinvestment, compound interest effect).

Chiipla implementation track record

ChiiPura is being used by the following regions and organizations (as of June 19, 2024, only those that have signed contracts are listed).
It operates stably as a system infrastructure used by 1 billion yen in circulation, 30,000 reservations, 220,000 members, and 200 participating businesses (all as of 2023).
The Japan Society for Preserving Secret Hot Springs, Hachimantai DMO, and Hamamatsu-Lake Hamana Tourism Bureau are switching from other companies' systems.
No region or group has stopped using ChiiPura since its introduction. After two years of operation, Hiyu decided to introduce it to their group. We believe that these facts are proof that ChiiPura's functions, fees, operation, and support have been well received (and we will continue to do our best in the future).
