Thank you very much for your assistance. We were very satisfied with the tour as we were able to visit a number of shrines. I learned a lot of things that I did not know before. The tour guide did not lead us to a souvenir shop, which is common in bus tours, and I felt that he really wanted us to get to know Izumo. I was worried about participating in the tour alone, but the guide took pictures for me, I was able to take red seals and sandwiches, and I really enjoyed what the guide had to say, which was easy to understand. I think it was also good that we were able to visit the sites in the order based on mythology. I would like to participate again if I have the chance!

A couple from Ichikawa City, Chiba Prefecture, joined us. We were impressed by the fact that Izumo Kagura has been handed down in the community without interruption by people of all ages in the preservation society. The care shown by the people who greeted us was also wonderful. Izumo is not only full of shrines, such as the Taisha, but the Kagura is truly wonderful. I would like to visit Izumo again someday.

I participated in the Japanese Heritage Guide this time. The guide was very knowledgeable about the various histories related to Himigozaki and things that the general public may not be aware of. I learned so much. The kagura performance was very impressive and the participants were immersed in a sacred and solemn atmosphere. It was a precious experience. The only thing that was a little disappointing was that the performance time was a little shorter than advertised. Overall, I would like to attend this event again and would highly recommend it.
