The food, sake, sunset, and the harmony of the people gathered there were very luxurious and comfortable, and I was able to spend a wonderful time. Thank you very much. Next time (May 6th is a bit difficult), I would like to invite a friend from Matsue to join us.

I think it was the guide's skill and thoughtfulness that allowed us to take our time and not feel rushed, even though there was so much to see. Thanks to the explanation of the Kojiki, I was able to understand more than just looking around. I don't think I could have visited Susa Shrine and Himigozaki Shrine by myself. Thanks to the experienced driver, we were able to move around without any worries. The tour was very satisfactory with free time and time to receive red seals. I was worried about whether my elderly mother would be able to keep up with the tour, but I am glad I took the plunge and joined the tour. I recommend this tour especially for those who are traveling to Izumo for the first time!

I'm glad I was able to enjoy Izumo Kagura. The explanation was easy to understand. It was also nice to see a young boy participating in the Kagura and inheriting the tradition.

The itinerary, the sights we saw, and the timing were all great. I’m glad we got to visit the main tourist attractions. It really lived up to the name “Shinwa.” The only downside was that the guide’s voice was too soft and hard to hear. As for the explanations… hmm (sweat). Since I went to the trouble of signing up for a guided tour, I wish they’d put a little more effort into it… (T_T) Still, I’m glad I got to visit Susa Shrine. Thank you very much.

“Thank You for This Opportunity” I attended the tour alone on Sunday morning. I had researched Izumo Taisha beforehand online and through the brochure at the hotel where I stayed the night before, but the guide’s explanations were even easier to understand than what I’d read, and I was deeply moved. Even things I already knew—such as the world of mythology, the great sacred rope, and the story of the “Month of the Gods”—felt all the more sacred when heard within the sacred precincts of Izumo Taisha. I was able to pray at my own pace, and it became a time to once again give thanks for the opportunity to be here. I am grateful for the blessings of the gods. P.S.: Meeting the taxi driver—who is also a parishioner of the Grand Shrine—and who drove me from the station to Inasa Beach was another “connection” I received on this trip. I am grateful for that heartwarming moment. (I’m resending this to express my gratitude to the guide.)

This was my first trip to Izumo Taisha, and since I only had one day, I really appreciated the efficient itinerary that packed in all the key sights. Plus, the explanations were very detailed, and hearing stories from the *Kojiki* and other myths was very educational. I had a wonderful time—thank you very much. I would definitely recommend this tour to anyone visiting Izumo Taisha for the first time.

Despite the flight delays caused by the typhoon and my late arrival, you still took the time to check on me. I had actually seen this traditional performing art before as part of a class when I was a student, but watching it as an adult allowed me to appreciate it from many different perspectives—it was a truly satisfying hour. The location was also wonderful, as the sunset was just beginning to set. Thank you for the wonderful memories and experience. If the opportunity arises, I would love to visit again.

出雲神楽定期公演2026 ～夕刻のとき、日が沈む聖地に舞う神話の世界～

We were blessed with good weather on the day, and were able to enjoy delicious food and drinks while watching the beautiful sunset. Although we were limited to sake from four breweries in Izumo City, the pairing of the food and the sake was very good, and we were able to enjoy the flavors that complemented each other. Also, some of the people who attended rarely drink hot sake, but this time they seemed to have rediscovered the deliciousness of hot sake. It was good that there was a shuttle bus from Izumo City Station (it was a must for a drinking party), but the announcement was late, the departure time listed on the website was slightly earlier than the arrival time of the train from the Matsue area (although the train actually waited), and furthermore, the event itself was not well known, so it seemed like there were some problems with the public relations. It's a wonderful event, so I hope that many people, including those from outside the prefecture, will come.
