It was my first time in Izumo. Thank you very much for your clear and detailed explanation. Not only the buildings and mythology, but also the stories about the pine trees along the streets and in the temple grounds were each a surprise. Thank you very much for a pleasant time. I have visited Izumo-taisha several times, but this was my first time to visit the shrine with a guide. I was very interested in the explanation of the shrine in relation to mythology and wanted to hear more about it. It was the first time for me to visit Himigozaki Shrine and Mankusen Shrine, and I was glad to have a guide to show me around. Seeing them without knowing about them and seeing them while knowing about them make a big difference in the way you look at them. However, I think I could have listened to the explanation better if I had had earphones, because I could not hear the explanation in the back when the participants were in a row. It is a waste of a good explanation. (That's why I gave it a 4 instead of a 5 for customer service.) Thank you very much for the guide lady and the man who drove us (sorry, I forgot his name). I would like to visit Izumo-taisha and other shrines again.

It was my first time to visit Izumo, but I was able to tour around efficiently on the Usagi-go, and I enjoyed my time without getting tired. The explanation of the myths was easy to understand with ingenious materials, and the anecdotes of each god were interesting and humanistic, which made us feel closer to the gods. It was my first visit to the San'in region, and I learned a lot from the driver who explained the characteristics of the climate during the cab ride. It was a good memory. Thank you very much.

We were a visually impaired couple with one guide dog. Both the guide and driver were very kind and They were very knowledgeable, so it was interesting and fun to hear their various stories. They supported us precisely, so we were able to enjoy sightseeing with peace of mind. We requested an original plan so that we, who are visually impaired, could fully enjoy the tour. We were also allowed to touch a realistic replica of a sword at the Aragamiya Museum, which we had hoped for. We really enjoyed the tour. We would definitely use this tour again with a different plan.

It was a very valuable experience to see Izumo Kagura, which has been passed down for many years, up close and in person. I participated in the Japanese Heritage Guide this time. The guide was very knowledgeable about the various histories related to Himigozaki and things that the general public may not be aware of. I learned so much. The kagura performance was very impressive and the participants were immersed in a sacred and solemn atmosphere. It was a precious experience. The only thing that was a little disappointing was that the performance time was a little shorter than advertised. Overall, I would like to attend this event again and would highly recommend it.

Our guide, Setsuko-san, has a family home near Izumo-taisha Shrine and was featured in a JAL in-flight magazine. She had a wonderful smile and told us many stories, including episodes unique to her hometown. We were blessed with a beautiful sunny day in spite of the cool temperature, and had a great time in the crisp early morning air. Afterwards, the approach to the temple and the surrounding area was very crowded, so we were very glad we took the plunge and decided to take the early morning tour. Thank you very much for guiding us early in the morning. The cafe where we had porridge was healthy and stylish, and it was very nice to be able to relax in a quiet environment.
