Thank you very much for your hospitality. I really appreciate that you set the meeting time so that we could make it on time by taking the first train from Matsue Shinji-ko Onsen Station. It was very efficient to be able to visit the shrine while listening to the explanations and seeing all the highlights. Thank you for answering our questions so readily. I would definitely recommend this tour to anyone visiting Izumo Taisha for the first time.

I was able to visit the shrine with a sense of refreshment during the early morning hours when there were still few tourists. Thanks to the guide’s thorough explanation of Izumo Taisha’s unique rituals—such as two bows, four claps, and one final bow—along with their origins and significance, I was able to fully focus on my prayers. It was deeply moving to hear firsthand the legends from the time of the shrine’s founding and the stories of the ancestors who have passed them down to the present day. The guide’s account of the shimenawa—based on his actual experience in crafting them—was truly compelling. As this was my first visit, everything was a new experience for me, but I’m sure even those who have been here before will find something new to discover. I’m so glad I joined this tour ^o^

This was our first family trip to Izumo, and I’m extremely satisfied because we had a much more meaningful experience than if we had just visited Izumo Taisha. My only comment is that our guide might have been a little too fit?

Our guide, Mr./Ms. ◯◯, was incredibly kind to us. I’ve really come to love Shimane Prefecture, Izumo Taisha, and rabbits! This tour is well worth the price. Next time, I’d love to take my family on this tour! We went to the soba restaurant that our guide recommended. The duck broth soba was absolutely delicious. Thank you so much for the recommendation!!

The itinerary, the sights we saw, and the timing were all great. I’m glad we got to visit the main tourist attractions. It really lived up to the name “Shinwa.” The only downside was that the guide’s voice was too soft and hard to hear. As for the explanations… hmm (sweat). Since I went to the trouble of signing up for a guided tour, I wish they’d put a little more effort into it… (T_T) Still, I’m glad I got to visit Susa Shrine. Thank you very much.

I was charmed by the children playing percussion instruments and dancing. The third piece had a narrative quality to it, and I really enjoyed it. The Kagura performance that engaged the audience was excellent. It’s a shame the restrooms are so far away.
