There was also a lecture on the ecology of geese, and we discussed the difficulties of balancing global warming countermeasures and bird habitat. A sandhill crane was on hand, a rare experience for the whole family. I think it would have been better if you had posted a sign at the entrance of the commune center (asking participants to come inside) or something to make it easier to understand the event.

I was extremely satisfied! I am so glad I was able to experience the explanations and actual observation. I couldn't believe my eyes when a large flock of geese came from far away. It was breathtaking to watch them gradually approach and then, with a cry, gracefully fly overhead toward Lake Shinji. It was an unforgettable moment!

I was not very knowledgeable about or interested in waterfowl, However, I was able to realize the ecology and cuteness of geese by participating in this tour. I was also impressed by the roosting site, and I would like to spread the word to people like myself who do not know much about waterfowls.

Parents and children participated in their first birding experience together. I had been interested in the migratory birds that come every fall and winter but had never thought to look them up in a picture book by myself, so I immediately applied for this experience. The first thing I learned about the Hii River and its birds made me even more excited to go out and watch wild birds! When I went to the observation spots, there were so many wild birds! We were also lent binoculars and were taught how to use them, which was very helpful for both parents and children. The sun was setting and we waited excitedly to see what kind of scene we would see. Parents and children were excited to see a flock of geese coming from afar! It was amazing to see the flock of geese flying in a big line in the blue sky. I am glad my child was able to see them. It was a memorable experience for them, and they were glad they waited until the evening. The two geo-guides were very kind to the children, and they were able to enjoy themselves while feeling nature. I was happy to know that we live in a good place where migratory birds come to visit us, knowing that we would have missed it without knowledge. I would like to go again if there is another geo-guided experience that I can participate in with my children.
