A Beautiful Dance to the Gods
Many myths have been passed down in the Izumo region since ancient times. The traditional performing art "Izumo Kagura" continues to convey the settings and famous scenes from these myths to the present day. It is said to have originated as a dance to entertain the gods, and is a sacred dance that is still dedicated to the gods.
In addition, the Izumo region is home to many mythological settings, such as Izumo Taisha Shrine and Inasa Beach, and many places where you can actually experience the world of myth. You can experience their charm even more if you see Izumo Kagura and then visit them for yourself.
This special winter performance of Izumo Kagura is a plan that allows you to experience and appreciate the world of myths, such as the Kunibiki myth, in conjunction with your first visit to Izumo Taisha Shrine.

Time: Doors open 17:00 / Show starts 17:30 / Ends 18:30

Adults: 4,000 yen (tax included) / person
Elementary school students: 3,000 yen (tax included) per person (preschoolers free)
*If a preschooler has a seat, they will be charged the elementary school student rate.

*Applications after the deadline will cost an additional 1,000 yen (if there are spaces available)

Contents: Kimono dressing experience, etc.

Time: Approximately 30 minutes

Admission fee + Adult: 5,000 yen (tax included) / 1 person / Elementary school student: 4,000 yen (tax included) / 1 person
Limited to 2 groups
(3) Plan with transportation
Admission fee + 3,000 yen (tax included) per person

*Shuttle bus service between JR Izumo Station and the venue
