Mid-October to early December is the most delicious season for persimmons!
Enjoy persimmon picking in Kakitsubo's persimmon orchards, where nature is abundant and expansive.
The variety is "Saijo persimmon.
Saijo persimmons are generally dried because they are too astringent as they are.
In this hands-on experience, you will be able to enjoy the process of picking persimmons, peeling and hanging them to dry, and then take them home to enjoy your own dried persimmon after hanging.
In conjunction with the event, you will be able to sample persimmons that are in season.
Activities: Harvest and dry 10 persimmons (5 persimmons for children)
Time: 9:30-12:00 (Please be there 10 minutes before)
Meeting place: Kakitsubo (20-2 Noishitani-machi, Izumo City)
Fee: Adults (junior high school students and older) 3,500 yen, Children (elementary school students) 1,500 yen
Capacity: 10 persons
In case of heavy rain, only the persimmon garden tour and dried persimmon experience will be held.
